The Alchemist

I've just finished reading this book. It's by the Brazilian
author PAULO COELHO. He wrote this book in 1988. The book has alot of deep meanings and explains a greater way to understand life.

The story is about an Andalusian shepherd boy named Santiago who ventures from his homeland in Spain to North Africa in search of a treasure buried in the Pyramids. Along the way he meets a beautiful, young gypsy woman, a man who calls himself a king, and an alchemist, all of whom point Santiago in the direction of his quest.


What I've noticed while reading was the authors keen understanding of the Arabic culture. I've enjoyed reading it.

American Girl Turn To Islam

She is not the only one, there are 20,000 American convert to Islam every year.

By the way, Islam is the second-largest religion in the world after Christianity, Islam is also the fastest-growing religion.

What That girl did needed a strong person. Changing your whole life ain't easy. She converted to Islam at a time the whole world was against Islam, just to be the person who she believed she should be. It was so hard, but she did it.. Imagine the reward she'll get from Allah.

I was waiting for this match and I sooo excited, but unfortunately because of my bad luck i couldn't watch the game(long story).. BUT we WON and that's all what matters.

Saudi Arabia VS. Kuwait

Every one feels excited when its a football match between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and when i say every one i mean every one, Saudis and Kuwaitis, not because both teams are good and the match will be exciting. Not every one really cares if their team will win, they want to watch the other team lose, that's all, why is that?? its football !!

Most Saudis and Kuwaitis -not all but alot- deal with each other like they are in a war!! they hate each other to death. There are times when i talk with my friends and Kuwait comes up they go eeewwww. Before, i used to defend Kuwait, i didn't find out why should i hate Kuwaitis, I've never been to Kuwait and i didn't meet alot of Kuwaitis and I thought they are our neighbours, i should defend them. But now i after my last two summers in London where I met alot of Kuwaitis, I found out that they REALLY don't like us! but to be honest i met Kuwaiti guys and families who were nice to us.

We were there for Kuwait when they needed us in Gulf War and I'm sure that they will be there for us when we need them. Infact King Abdul Aziz's father moved to Kuwait when he was forced to leave Riyadh.

Bottom line, we are all ONE nation. We were one country one day.

Horrray Left-handers We Have a Day

I've just known that left-handers have an international day, isn't that cool??
It is on the 13th of August... I'm looking forward to that day, i don't know what I'm gonna do, I think I'm just gonna be happy in this right-handed world.

Convers Shoes

Weird how suddenly these shoes became SO popular here, although we knew these shoes since we were born, but people weren't interested in them as now. What is so special about these shoes ?? Is it because you wear shoes like everyone else but different at the same time? :P I mean the same shoes but with a unique fabric, maybe.
